SF:ius is the new member of the Anna Lindh Foundation
On March 3, 2016, SF:ius association was admitted to the Croatian Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Network..
The Croatian Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Network promotes dialogue, knowledge and diversity among the cultures of the Euro-Mediterranean region by developing tolerance and openness to new knowledge, religions, cultures and values. The Croatian Network is also committed to the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
The Croatian Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation Network operates in the Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Intercultural Dialogue "Anna Lindh" dedicated to promoting dialogue among the cultures of the Euro-Mediterranean region. The Ana Lindh Foundation operates as a network of national networks, bringing together civil society organizations, public institutions and similar organizations from various fields of activity. Headquartered in Alexandria, Egypt, the ALF is present in 43 member states of the Barcelona Process: Union for the Mediterranean.
ALF's partners are the Alliance of Civilizations of the United Nations, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Council of Europe, the Organization for Education, Culture and Science of the Arab League (ALECSO) and the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) and Libya and Sudan as observers.
The aim of the ALF is to facilitate intercultural dialogue and the development of sustainable projects and programs that will contribute to a better understanding of the cultural and political processes that shape thinking and behavior and enhance the activities of institutions and civil society in support of dialogue.
